This series of lithographs depicts the alleys of Venice and was created during my artist residency at the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica di Venezia, where I had the privilege of studying lithography with Marcello De Vecchi, whose generous and masterful teaching gave me a deeper understanding of the medium.

Following the approach of my earlier Tehran series, these works are characterized by formal simplification, an emphasis on composition, and a drawing-based approach. The geographical contrast between Tehran and Venice offers a different experience of urban space while maintaining a continuous visual language across both series.
