This series of lithographs captures the alleys of Venice, Italy, and was created during an artist residency in the city, following the same principles and methods I employed in my previous series, “Tehran”.
The works are characterized by controlled formal simplifications, a strong focus on composition, and a drawing-based approach. These elements define the essence of the series, which was developed during my residency in Venice.
The geographical contrast between this series and the earlier Alleys of Tehran is striking and significant, offering a new perspective on urban spaces while maintaining the core artistic language I explored in both collections.
